GM Modular launches its first TVC campaign

GM Modular, one of the most renowned brand in Home Electrical Products has come up with its first TV campaign for the Indian market. This campaign features GM’s new face, Suniel Shetty, the celebrated Bollywood star and brand ambassador of GM Modular. The campaign intends to communicate the brand strategy of showing its wide product range and reinforce the premium image of the brand in consumer’s mind. 

The campaign has two objectives. Firstly, to communicate that GM is not only into switches but it has wide range like LED’s, Home Automation, wires and cables, Bluetooth music players and more. All the films show different products of the brand and their features in an elegant way. 

Another intent of the campaign is to signify the premium image of the brand. GM Modular believes that switch today not only does a lot more than before, but also looks a lot better. From switching and dimming, to motion sensing switches that operate with just a wave of your hand. Switches have changed forms from touch switches to Wi-Fi switches, lately offering the world a complete new range of technological options. Treatment of all the films are effectively communicating about the premium image of the brand. 

.The film starts with GM’s signature tune “Koi Hai” which signifies the association of brand in the consumer’s life and how influential it is in changing consumers lifestyle which rightly goes with its positioning “switch to a better world” 

On using Suniel Shetty in the campaign, Marketing Head, GM Modular said “Suniel Shetty is a celebrated Bollywood actor. Apart from his popularity, Suniel Shetty has built trust and credibility from his work and he is a versatile personality who has contributed a lot in different areas like films, fitness, business and more. All these qualities resonate with the brand’s image as GM stands for trust, credibility and innovation. 

GM Modular saw the early need to find an emotional connection with the consumer and their relationship with their range. Elaborating on the creative idea behind the campaign, Mr. Jayanth Jain, CEO and MD, GM Modular said “the film is a portrayal of the emotional bond that every Indian family has and this ad campaign is sure to evoke the sentiment.
